Police are looking for a gang that raided a supermarket in Muthaiga and robbed the attendants of Sh300,000.
The five-man gang had posed as customers before they ordered customers and workers to lie down at gun point on Saturday night, police said.
Gigiri OCPD Vitalis Otieno said the gang emptied cash from a cashier. They then hijacked a saloon car, which they used to escape.
Police said the gang later abandoned the car in Kilimani. No injuries were reported and efforts to establish how they attacked the mini-market are ongoing.
Elsewhere, a gang of five raided a popular restaurant in Hurlingham and robbed patrons of more than Sh250,000.

Police said the gang had posed as patrons before they struck. They escaped on foot.
And police are on the trail of a gang that shot dead a senior officer in Njiru on Wednesday night and robbed him of his gun and two police communication gadgets.
Police say the gang could be using one of the gadgets to monitor their tracking.
