Commissioner asks locals to report suspected cases

County Commissioner Pauline Dola has asked residents to be vigilant and report to the nearest security agents any suspicious characters.

"You should be your brother's keeper. Report anyone you suspect within your midst to the police," she said.

Ms Dola said terror threat is not confined to certain areas thus Makueni is not an exception.

She was speaking in Mbooni constituency where she opened Kalawa, Kalimani and Kithungu Chiefs' offices and Ngiluni AP lines at the weekend.

She was accompanied by Mbooni MP Kisoi Munyao, Makueni Police Commander Waithera Kipsom among others.

Mr Kisoi said Mbooni CDF has invested heavily in security.
