NAIROBI: A CID officer and robbery suspect died in an accident after their vehicles were involved in an accident along Nairobi-Namanga Road. Three other officers injured.
The officers from Ruaraka police station were headed for Kajiado town to make a recovery of stolen property when their two vehicles were involved in the accident at about 2pm Thursday.
Police say the victims were in two separate vehicles when the lead car collided with an oncoming lorry causing a pile up and rolled into a ditch. The injured are at the Kenyatta National Hospital.
Last year two police officers died alongside two suspects they had arrested in Nairobi.
