Isiolo, Kenya: Four people were killed and one injured in clashes between two groups in Kubi area, Isiolo County over stolen animals.
The clashes happened on Monday evening after a cattle rustling incident in the area. Police said among those killed were three reservists and a 17 year old herder.
Kenya Red Cross said the one injured was admitted to the local hospital.
Isiolo County Police Commander Nelson Okioga said the cattle rustlers were heavily armed.
He added the four were killed as they pursued the stolen livestock. The police boss said about 200 of the stolen animals were recovered after a long fight.
