Karatina, Kenya: Six people were killed Wednesday morning in an accident involving two vehicles along Karatina-Kerugoya Road. Five died on the spot while the sixth victim died in hospiotal while receiving treatment.
Six others were rushed to hospital with serious injuries. Police say the accident involved a Probox and a salon car.
The Probox was carrying passengers and was headed for Kerugoya from Karatina when they collided.
Police are investigating the incident.
Two of those in hospital had life threatening injuries, police said.
