Narok, Kenya: A body of a taxi driver, suspected to have been strangled, was Wednesday found in a culvert near Katakala shopping centre on Bomet-Narok road, Narok County.
The victim, identified as 25-year-old Edward Karbolo, was a member of the Narok Taxi Association and operated his taxi in Narok town.
Narok North police boss Paul Leting said the late karbolo was strangled before his assailants fled with his car.
"We have launched a manhunt for the thugs and the public should volunteer information that would lead to the arrest of the culprits," he said.
Leiting urged taxi operators to take the details of potential clients before commencing transporting them, to reduce the insecurity cases.
