Minnows Shree Cutchi Leva Patel Samaj continued with their top form after they upset former champions Mombasa Sports Club by six wickets in one of the NIC Bank T20 cricket tournament matches over the weekend.
Shree Cutchi Leva won the toss and elected to field.
Taaha Sulemanji and Mohammed Al-Hoorazi (not out) had 21 runs each before Al-Hoorazi was bowled by Dhiren Gaudarip. Sagar Karia had 16 runs for hosts Mombasa Sports Club. Man-of-the-match Gaudarip had two wickets for 15 runs.
Chasing Mombasa Sports Club’s 103 target, Shree Cutchi Leva met less opposition before wrapping up the match at 105 with six wickets to play. Akshay Branderi and Sachin Bhudia bagged 34 and 27 runs respectively.
Wicket takers for Sports Club were Thabit Mohammed 2-14 and Dev Hiran 1-20.

In another match at the same venue, Simba Sports Club beat former champions Jaffery Sports Club by 59 runs. Simba won the toss and were 149 in the 19th inning.
Niraj hit a half a century with Praduman and Ragesh (not out) hitting 38 and 20 runs respectively for the winners. C. Reagan and Muraj Minhall had 2-29 and 1-49.
