Bigwigs enter Sepetuka quarters
Kabras Sugar and Nakuru RFC are among the first teams to qualify for quarter-finals in the Sepetuka Sevens as the second round of National Sevens Circuit kicked off at Eldoret Sports Club yesterday.
Kabras Sugar beat Strathmore Leos 24-14 and Kisumu RFC 7-5 to top Pool B table standings with a match at hand against Mwamba.
It was not an easy task against Kisumu RFC as Kabras Sugar were made to sweat before touching down once with a conversion while Kisumu RFC managed unconverted try.
In another Pool B match, Mwamba drubbed Kisumu RFC 38-0 before dismissing Strathmore Leos 14-12 in their second match. [Ben Ahenda]
