Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil wants to join Barcelona in January.

The star is set to move to the Spanish side for £17million and is demanding a £330,000-a-week salary, according to reports.

Ozil’s contract is on the verge of running out at the end of this season.

According to Spanish media outlets, Ozil wants to quit the Emirates for the Nou Camp, but wants around £17m-a-year in wages.

The 29-year-old German international also wants a number of add-ons and bonuses if he joins Barcelona.

Alexis Sanchez is also likely to leave the club at the end of this season.
