Kisumu, Kenya: Police are investigating how traffic police officer fearing the outcome of vetting was found shot five times at his residence in Nyalenda, Kisumu. Those who attended the scene say he was shot five times. His colleagues disputed the claims he shot himself saying no way one can fire at himself more than once in the head.
The officer was covered last month during the vetting where he confessed to have millions he was given as a token after escorting Hindu gods.
Officials said He tricked his colleague who had a gun before his duty time. He sent him outside and went for the gun, went to his room and locked himself up before opening fire on himself. His colleagues had to break the door to retrieve his body. The incident is being probed.
