Danny Welbeck has emerged as a surprise target for Besiktas, according to reports in the Daily Star Sunday.
The Turkish giants have reportedly marked Welbeck out as their No 1 choice to replace Demba Ba.
Welbeck, 24, only joined Arsenal from Manchester United last summer but struggled for form and fitness during the latter stages of the season.
