President Uhuru hands over Harambee Stars sponsorship for Brazil tour

Nairobi, Kenya: President Uhuru Kenyatta has handed over his sponsorship to Harambee Stars who will be headed for Brazil to watch World Cup matches.

The President said the trip will motivate them to know that they too, can be part of the greatest teams in the world.

He also thanked East Africa Breweries Ltd for their 40, 000 dollars contributiom to the national team.

“The trip will encourage them to perform better as they will emulate what they see. As much as they are not partcipating, they will promote our country by being ambassadors and create great impression out there”, Uhuru said Friday in State House, Nairobi.
