Several people are feared dead after a building they were constructing collapsed in Kiang’ombe area in Kitengela, Kajiado County.

Isinya Police Commander Anciant Kaloki confirmed the incident to The Standard, saying rescue operations are underway.

According to 21-year-old David Chege who was among the workers who managed to escape, ten people were at the building during the 10.00 am incident.

However, three people are yet to be retrieved.

Police are on the site.
