Governor Simon Kachapin has said the prevailing peace along the troubled Turkana-Pokot border is set to boost food security and development projects in the two counties.
Mr Kachapin lauded the prevailing peace and said economic development will be achieved when the two communities co-exist.
Speaking during a tour to the border, he underscored the need for the communities to embrace each other so that projects initiated by both the national and two county governments would benefit them.
For two months now, residents along the border have enjoyed peace with learning at border schools going uninterrupted.
