Nakuru, Kenya: The body of a 40-year-old man was on Wednesday found dumped by the roadside near Gema Farm in Gilgil.

The mutilated body of Dominic Ng'ang'a, which had no eyes, lips, ears, nose and part of his face skinned, was discovered by residents at around 7am.

Speaking to the Press, the man's father Hosea Ndungu said he last saw his son on Monday when he left for his charcoal business at Eburru Hills accompanied by his brother.

"My son went to work but did not return. I tried to reach him after failing to hear from him but the phone went unanswered and was later switched off only to receive information today (Wednesday) that his body had been found," he said.

The body was later taken to Gilgil District Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
