Nairobi, Kenya: Narok leaders on Saturday met President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House, where they agreed to allow a peaceful resettlement of their disputes.
The Narok delegation was led by Senator Stephen ole Ntutu and included Members of Parliament and members of Narok County Assembly. They briefed President Kenyatta on issues bedevilling their county.
Responding to their requests for him to intervene, Uhuru asked them to give the national government time to do its investigations and then come up with its report before taking any action.
The leaders agreed to call off their Monday meeting so as to give the national government time to undertake its own investigations.
Narok leaders who accompanied the Senator included MPS, Korei Lemein (Narok South), Patrick ole Ntutu (Narok West), Johana Ng’eno (Emurua Dikirr), Moitalel ole Kenta (Narok North) former Narok North Member of Parliament William Ole Ntimam as well as former Transport Licensing Board chairman Hassan ole Kamwaro.
