Vintage is the predominant theme in my wardrobe as opposed to trends because I do not like dressing like everyone else.
I like classic looks from the 1940s to 1980s. The 1940s and 1950s are an inspiration for the preppy housewife look, where everything fits properly and not even a single hair is out of place.
My favourite shoes: The black and brown gladiator 4-inch heels practically go with almost everything. They are both very sexy on my feet too. |
As for my casual look, retro still applies but this time with shorter dresses from the 1960s to 1980s.
I buy the clothes most girls would not be spotted in and work on them altering a few things here and there to suit my style.
I love jackets but no three-button kind of style, boyfriend jackets are more my thing.
The accessories from the old fashion eras were quite interesting and I am obsessed with them right now too.
My favourite bag: Apart from its retro look, its size is in between so if I need to carry a bit more stuff but not in the mood for a huge bag, it comes in handy. |
The long satchel bags are not only fashionable but are also quite easy to carry around since I do not like carrying huge bags with nothing inside.
With the shift of weather, I will still be faithful to my dresses and boyfriend jackets but don warmer closed shoes and boots. No point of shifting to jeans, I do not like them as much.
I shop at the flea markets like Toi and Ngara because they are likely to have retro fashion.
