President William Ruto chairs his first Cabinet meeting with inaugural members at State House, Nairobi. [PCS]

President William Ruto is currently chairing the first cabinet meeting of the fifth administration.

Today's meeting at State House, Nairobi, is the first with the new Cabinet Secretaries in office.

The last cabinet meeting the president chaired included the immediate former cabinet ministers.

It is President William Ruto's inaugural Cabinet meeting with new CSs. [PCS]

A myriad of issues are expected to feature at the meeting including; Insecurity cases across various parts of the country, the Hustler Fund, the recent controversial road-side declarations and formulation of policies that have been made by some of the CSs, including Trade CS Moses Kuria's stand on Mitumba ban and his Education CS Ezekiel Machogu on the funding for public universities.

Ruto last met the present Cabinet Secretaries on October 27, when he witnessed their swearing-in at State House, Nairobi.

The National Assembly approved all 24 members of the Cabinet.
