The Azimio la Umoja selection panel has said that interested parties who wish to submit names for the presidential running mate position have until tomorrow, May 5 to do so.
The Committee chairperson Dr Noah Wekesa Wednesday said they will only consider candidates who are members of the coalition.
“The committee shall only consider candidates who are members of the constituent parties of the Azimio la Umoja – One Kenya Alliance.” said Wekesa.

The seven-member panel was formed last week to flaunt a running mate candidate to Raila Odinga.
It consists of Bishop Peter Njenga, Archbishop Zacchaeus Okoth, Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua, Michael Orwa, Noah Wekesa, Sheikh Mohamed Khalifa and Beatrice Askul Moe who are expected to present “a name, or names of the running mate candidate by May 10.
So far, the panel is set to interview eight candidates gunning for the position including Narc Kenya Martha Karua, Narc Party Leader Charity Ngilu, Former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth, Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho, Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua and Agriculture CS Peter Munya.
