The police are investigating alleged disappearance of a Rangwe parliamentary candidate. Ezra Odhiambo, who is contesting the seat on a Green Congress of Kenya ticket, has reportedly not been seen since last weekend.
Family members and friends have been worried since Odhiambo left home on Saturday. They reported the matter to police after waiting for his return in vain.
Homa Bay OCPD Esau Ochorokodi said Odhiambo's mobile phone number was not being answered.
He appealed for calm as police officers conduct investigations to establish the politician's whereabouts.
