
Candidates who sat for the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) can check their secondary placement by visiting the Ministry of Education website or using SMS.
Using SMS, the candidates can send their index number to 22263. They will in turn receive a message confirming the school they have been placed.
Schools will also access and download their selection lists by logging onto the NEMIS.
1,225,502 candidates sat for the 2021 KCPE examinations whose results were released a fortnight ago. All have been placed in the 9,200 public schools across the country.
The Ministry of Education placed 38,797 candidates in National schools, 214, 960 in Extra-County schools, 218, 456 in County schools, 2,045 for Special Needs Education, 726, 311 in sub-county schools while 9,128 are Refugees in camps.
