Thugs make away with M-Pesa cash

Four thugs including a woman raided an M-Pesa shop in a Naivasha estate making away with over Sh100,000.

During the daylight robbery in Karagita Estate, the thugs shot several times in the air before driving off with the loot.

Using a stolen taxi, the thugs drove away at high speed through the sprawling estate before dumping the vehicle in Kayole Estate along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.

According to Naivasha OCPD Charles Kortok, police had launched investigations into the incident. He appealed on the public to volunteer information that could help them arrest the suspects.

Meanwhile over 60 passengers travelling to western Kenya from Nairobi escaped death narrowly after a bus they were travelling in was involved in an accident in Naivasha.
