Three people died and two others injured at Mihango area in Embakasi East Constituency, Nairobi County after a metallic water tank that they were repairing fell on Tuesday night, March 22.
Martin Mwangi, an eyewitness, said the victims were repairing a leakage in the filled tank, when it collapsed on them.
One of the victims died at the scene, while the third succumbed to his injuries while being taken to Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital.
Two others, who survived, are receiving treatment at Aga Khan and Kenyatta hospitals.

Residents of Mihango said they’ve been facing water problems of late, and that the three died while trying to ensure no water goes to waste.
Mario Kainga, the deputy director of water services in Nairobi, warned residents against sinking boreholes without seeking approval from the county government.
“We will take action against the owner of the collapsed killer tank,” he said when he visited the accident site.
Bodies of the three victims were moved to Mama Lucy Hospital morgue, police said.
