Nairobi, Kenya: Police are investigating the discovery of two bodies of a girl and a child within Ngong Forest in Nairobi.
The body of the girl aged about 17 and boy aged two years were discovered by forest guards who were on patrol.
Police say the bodies were later identified but they were yet to know who was behind the murders. It is also not clear if the woman is the mother of the child.
Nairobi police boss Japheth Koome the victims seemed to have been strangled by a piece of cloth before being dumped in the forest.
“The killer or killers may have used a piece of cloth to strangle them in the necks. Investigations are ongoing to establish the motive and those behind it,” said Koome.

The bodies were discovered on Monday evening. They were later moved to the mortuary as investigations into the incident continue.
