Woman scatters Sh60,000 notes on busy road before strangers scrambled to help

China: Can you imagine the worst thing to drop on a busy intersection with multiple lanes of traffic - that's right a massive wad of cash.

Like some hideous version of the Crystal Maze a gust of wind scatters the notes into the air while the helpless woman dodges traffic trying to retrieve her money.

The notes lure her in only to slip from her grasp at the last minute.

The footage shows passers-by stepping in to help chase down the errant stack of banknotes totalling 3,700RMB - a little more than £380.

Members of the public shouted to Ms Chen in Huyang City, Anhui, China, on Thursday, "You dropped your money."

The Good Samaritans then helped her collect every stray note, reported Shanghaiist.
