The proliferation of exam malpractices by some university lecturers makes it necessary to create an independent body to mark students’ exams.
Nowadays, it is common for marks to be awarded on the basis of a student’s affiliation with a lecturer instead of merit. Those ‘lucky’ enough to be lovers or relatives of said course instructors can be guaranteed high grades regardless of the garbage turned in as assignments.
But for those who fail to comply with lecturers’ sexual or other demands, or cross paths with them, victimisation is as certain as death is to every living creature. Supplementary exams are their bane, no matter how well they present their scripts.
This elevation of fraud crushes the spirits of students who prefer to hang onto their integrity.
