It is refreshing to learn that Prime Minister Raila Odinga has been discharged from hospital.
Our unsolicited advice to him is to slow down. He has kept a punishing schedule for the last few years and the effects are beginning to exhibit themselves through ill-health.
The PM must learn one golden rule of management, which is delegation. He could borrow a leaf from President Kibaki who is a true master at delegating.
Raila’s woes appear to emanate from the fact that the President delegated almost all official duties to him. Raila, in turn, either forgot or shunned delegating to his two deputy prime ministers.
This turned out to be a near fatal mistake. Raila must cease playing Atlas by carrying the world on his shoulders.
