Nairobi, Kenya – President Uhuru Kenyatta travelled to Uganda Saturday afternoon for a three-day State visit.
The President was accompanied by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta on his first State visit to the neighbouring country.
During the visit, President Kenyatta and his host President Yoweri Museveni will hold bilateral talks on issues ranging from trade and regional integration to the shared values of economic prosperity for the people of the two countries.
The two leaders are also likely to discuss the latest developments in South Sudan and review the situation in Burundi where President Museveni acted as mediator on behalf of the East African Community.
While in Uganda, President Kenyatta will also meet the Ugandan business community and the Kenyan diaspora as well as address the Ugandan Parliament.
