Edin Dzeko dismissed suggestions of a fall-out with Manchester City as he set his sights on silverware with new club Roma at his official unveiling.
The Bosnia international striker completed a season-long loan move to the Italian club on Wednesday, with a view to a permanent transfer.
Dzeko told a press conference: “I didn’t have any problems with anyone. City are a top club with lots of brilliant players in every position and I was also hampered by injury problems after getting off to a good start. I’m in good shape now and I want to do my best for this team.
“I came here because I’ve been following Roma since (international team-mate Miralem) Pjanic joined. They have a big project for the future with some fantastic players.
“I’m very happy to be here and to help the club reach its targets.”
