After months of going mute on the internet, Keroche Breweries Heiress Anerlisa Muigai has made a social media comeback with what seemed to be amazing news for her family and fans.
The Nero Company CEO posted a video of herself fondling her visibly grown tummy and convincing netizens she was expectant.
“How I feel today,” she captioned the 12 seconds video.
However, a section of online users is torn between whether to believe if the entrepreneur is pregnant after following up the ‘pregnancy’ announcement with numerous videos of her flat tummy celebrating her successful weight loss.
“Achieved my own body goals, Yeap 57.5kgs,” she wrote.
Before her spontaneous exit from social media, Anerlisa had dropped a few pregnancy hints that prompted many to believe she was expecting her first child with her husband, Tanzanian singer Ben Pol.
“Husband to dad, wife morning sickness, fatigue, boob tenderness, gas, stretch marks, weight gain, feet swelling, prenatal, no sleep, braxton hicks, cravings, water breaking, contractions, and labour,” she wrote in one of her previous posts.
Anerlisa disclosed that her husband Ben Pol was also cueing that they have an addition to their family by sending her baby pictures.
“Guess who has been sending me a lot of cute baby videos? This is like the sixth. So cute, but I get it now,” Anerlisa added in a separate post.
Her pregnancy rumours became more rampant when she made a post thanking God for the good news she and her family had received during their hospital visit.
“Not every time you go to the hospital is bad news, God is good is all I can say new hair. Feeling blessed with my mum in NH,” she wrote.
In February, Anerlisa was forced to delete pictures she had posted for Valentines after hawk-eyed netizens spotted her bump and started flooding her comments section with congratulatory messages.
Considering the curvy personality had not posted pictures of herself in over a month, netizens were convinced she was pregnant.
Marriage on the rocks
Around the same time, Anerlisa’s marriage was said to have hit a dead end after she unfollowed Ben Pol and deleted all his pictures from her page.
Responding to the rumours, Anerlisa affirmed that she was not on good terms with her husband, citing disrespect.
“Somebody called asking if I was aware that ‘my husband’ was live talking things she couldn’t understand, she even sent me screenshots. Unfortunately, I never got to watch but just to make it clear that we are not in good terms.
“I am a person who likes to protect my image and all I know is that I like being respected and any husband should do the same to their wife,” she said.
Speaking in a follow-up interview with Mwanaspoti, Anerlisa denied that her relationship was on the rocks adding that they have never been away from each other because of a fight ever since they started dating.
