This week AS Roma social media admin tweeted that the club’s players are banned from taking a photo with Canadian rap star Drake.
The tweet brought back the debate that the rapper is a jinx to the people he hangs out with or games he makes appearances in.
Manchester City’s Sergio Agüero, PSG’s Layvin Kurzawa, Paul Pogba, Wilfried Zaha, Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are some of the players that he hanged out with and they ended up on the losing side in the next games they played.
The rapper also hanged out with Conor McGregor before the mixed martial artist faced Khabib Nurmagomedov and it is known how that ended. In 2015 he attended most of Serena Williams’ games, which she cruised through but came out crushing in the finals against the underdog Roberta Vinci.
He was named the ambassador of NBA franchise Toronto Raptors and since his naming, the Raptors have only made it to the finals once and they lost the series 4-2 to the LeBron led Cleveland Cavaliers.
To address this curse this year he wore a jumper featuring all four teams in the Superbowl semi-finals but still, the curse prevailed making it the lowest scoring ever.
