Celebrated Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has narrated how events of the past weeks were difficult for her and her 2-year-old son, Andre Omodayo Churchill.
Andre fell ill recently and according to the mother, he almost lost his life.
Although she did not disclose what the son was suffering from, Ms Dikeh described the three weeks as terrifying.
“The last three weeks of our lives have been amazingly terrifying. The devil reared its ugly head, but he met a lion disguised as a woman. I almost lost my son, but ‘almost’ cannot kill a bird. The devil has been defeated in my life and in the lives of my loved ones,” said Dikeh.
The beautiful Nigerian actress went ahead to express gratitude to everyone who stood with her during that difficult time. She also confirmed that the son is now well.
“We are both healed and hearty...thanks to everyone who stopped by the hospital...#thank you lord JESUS #Thanks to my Pastor friends and spiritual leaders...” part of her long post read.
Tonto and her then husband, Oladunni Churchill welcomed their son in 2016 in Houston, Texas.
However, the two called it quits and divorced in February last year. She accused him of being a batterer.
