The Recharge concert held at the KICC in New Year’s Eve wasn’t short of drama.
Overheard has it that a Gospel singer who went solo last year after other members from a trio they were in left to pursue other interests refused to perform before a certain popular rapper.
According to the programme the singer was supposed to hit the stage few minutes past 7pm before the rapper but in what looks like a supremacy battle he refused to, arguing that he wasn’t ready.
The rapper instead took to the stage where he rocked the crowd with his popular songs and the singer followed later on.
