- Former Machachari actor Ian Nene has told off fans comparing him with his screen character
- Nene, popularly known as Almasi stated that the innocent boy they knew was dead
If you have watched the local TV program Machachari, you have definitely had a liking for the youthful teens who have acted in the popular programme over time.
One of those actors was Ian Nene popularly known in the programme as Almasi. His character in the program grew into kids countrywide as the sitcom amassed a huge following amongst his peers.
Fast forward to 2017 and Almasi has morphed; he has matured, become vocal and with a flashy sense of fashion.
His Instagram page boasting of over 25 thousand followers was talk of town over the weekend after he posted to one of his fans that ‘Almasi’ was no more.
The fan had in plain terms stated that she missed the old innocent boy from Machachari to which he bluntly retorted that he had died.
Ian had earlier posted a video on Instagram that saw his follows question it.
Others scoffed at the idea while some supported him stating that people evoleve and had the right to define who he is.
