A machine operator has moved to court to sue a neighbor for allegedly stabbing him.
Peter Mulinge Ndote has accused Mathew Kiema of stabbing him on July 17 within Pipeline area leaving him with serious injuries.
According to police records, Ndote was in his house preparing to go to the bathroom after arriving from work when he heard commotions outside. He peeped outside and allegedly saw Kiema’s wife insulting his wife, claiming she was a prostitute.
According to the prosecution, Ndote sought to know why his wife was being insulted, and it was then that Kiema stepped out of the house and confronted him, asking if he was man enough to fight him.
The court heard that the accused pulled out a kitchen knife and stabbed the complainant — who was naked — in the shoulder and thigh. On sensing danger, Ndote and his wife reportedly retreated into their house until one of their friends arrived to rescue them from a furious Kiema.
Keima denied the charges and was released on Sh20,000 cash bail. The case will be heard on October 21.
