A Jack Russell was SAVED from an attack because of its owner's quick thinking

Ann Bendouli put her finger up a dog's bum - it doesn't sound like an incredible act of bravery... but, er, it was.

Ann, a 54-year-old from Australia, was walking her dog, a puppy Jack Russell named Lexey, when it was attacked by another dog - a Staffordshire Terrier.

The important thing here is not that Ann stuck a finger up a dog's bum, even though that in itself is fairly important, but it's actually about what we've learned from the ordeal.
