Being a Kenyan is fun. It’s fun when you fulfill the expectations of Kenyans more so if you are on the limelight.

The wrath of Kenyans, more so on social media, can make one think of lying low or going under for a while.

So is to be said of Teacher Wanjiku who has had a fair share of it.

After quitting Churchill, the female comedian went ahead to begin her own show at one of the leading TV stations in Kenya.

Her show aired only once after which it was taken down. According to sources, the show needed to be worked on and as such it was handed back to its producers.

After the news broke that she was leaving Churchill to do her own show, many feared for her downfall with people saying they hoped the show did not become a flop like Eric Omondi’s.

And as creative as Kenyans can be, they do not let the dust settle that first. A photo has been doing its rounds on twitter of Teacher Wanjiku being compared to Lupita Nyong’o.

Whether Teacher Wanjiku will weather the storm and come out strong, only time will tell.
