Companies awarded contracts to put up new classrooms for the Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC) in the county have until March this year to complete work.
According to Samburu County Commissioner Henry Wafula no contractor will not be allowed in schools after the deadline as the students will be sitting for national examinations.
“We are saying this because after March we will be having national examinations and at that time we will not allow anyone who is not involved to enter schools,” he said.
He was speaking at Kisima Mixed Secondary School in Samburu where he was inspecting the construction of classes.
