Two riders have perished on the spot in a motorcycle crash on the outskirts of Wote town, along Makindu-Wote road, Makueni County.
The accident involved a sportbike and another motorcyclist who is a boda boda person operating in the town.
According to Urbanus Mutisya, an eyewitness, the two riders were speeding in the same direction from the town where the boda boda man signaled an indicator to change direction but the other rider failed to notice hence the accident.
Wote town Boda Boda association chair has warned its members against over-speeding in the rapidly growing town.
“I want to tell all operators in the town to observe traffic rules and also parents should not allow their children to take their motorbikes and ride to the town,” said Mr. Mutisya
