About 30 students from South Eastern Kenya University (Seku) sustained multiple injuries Sunday when a vehicle they were travelling in overturned.
The hired matatu, christened Mwende Safaris and belonging to Namak Sacco, overturned near the Kenyatta University gate.
Two ambulances belonging to Kenyatta University and Seku were mobilised to take the injured to Kitui Level Four Hospital.
Health officers said none of the students sustained life-threatening injuries, adding that they were all responding well to treatment.
