Pensioner hires escort who turns out to be his son's girlfriend

Vicenza, Italy:  A 70-year-old man was put in an extremely awkward position when he turned up to his appointment to find his son's other half.

An Italian pensioner took awkwardness to a whole new level when the escort he'd hired turned out to be his son's girlfriend.

The 70-year-old man from Vicenza, in northern Italy, made an appointment with an escort, only to discover he'd booked the South American partner of his 40-year-old child.

The father and son came to blows after the young man was told his girlfriend was not a maid, as she'd said, but was instead being paid for sex.

The relatives have since broken off all relations.

The embarrassing incident came to light after the son reported his father for causing him minor injuries in a scrap.
The hearing was postponed as the judge was unable to bring the family to an agreement.
