Nyanza ward rep involved in bar brawl

A Member of a County Assembly from Luo Nyanza is nursing injuries after he was assaulted by a reveler in a bar following verbal exchanges.

The first time legislator who is also the chairman of a committee in the assembly is said to have insulted his fellow reveler, who happened to be his voter, before the irritated man landed on him with blows.

It took the intervention of the MCA's bodyguard to rescue the member from the villager who had pinned him on the ground.

The resident was overheard bragging how he taught the MCA a lesson after he claimed that he has become notorious of abusing other revelers.

But the MCA is said to be pursuing the man for revenge.
