A suspected thief was not lucky after he tried stealing a phone and two thousand shillings from an agrovet in Kakamega County on Saturday 13 April.
Wanachi said they beat him up after he was spotted by a passerby trying to steal.

The man was beaten by angry members of the public and tried pleading with administration police officer to have mercy on him and his efforts were fruitless.
He returned the phone and the money and was released after receiving thorough beatings.
