Student stabbed to death by boyfriend

A student at the Kaiboi Technical Training Institute in Nandi County was yesterday stabbed to death by her boyfriend.

Faith Chepkirui was stabbed in her neck, chest and head. She was pronounced dead when she got to hospital.

Her friends yesterday told police Chepkirui feared for her life after she, on Sunday, told the man she wanted to end their relationship that began in January and he threatened to harm her.

Nandi North acting Deputy County Commissioner Sammy Makhanu said the man pounced on her as she entered the dining hall for breakfast.
