A parastatal chief has become a laughing stalk in government circles for failing to deliver a single vote to Jubilee Party. This reality has made him fall out favour with big shots in government after realising he is all talk but no action.
But that is not the big issue. The man is said to be canvassing for a post for his sidekick who was a manager at the firm but resigned, then rehired in suspicious circumstances.
It is said that the woman, cunning, scheming and pushy has manipulated the CEO to a point of being a zombie.
A little bird whispers that although the woman's standing is in tatters - she is said to be incompetent, condescending and lacks leadership and technical skills.
But the CEO is determined to have her rehired again after her contract ended. Well, eyes are rolling at the firm. Meanwhile, two years into his reign, the CEO has not brought the change Kenyans hoped for.
