Newly-appointed Harambee Starlets coach Richard Kanyi says his appointment is an advantage for women's football and he is looking forward to delivering.
Kanyi guided Women Premier League side Thika Queens to double title wins last season before stepping down this season.
"It's a big challenge but we are looking for a good side. We want to bring new blood for balance. The selection is good and we expect a lot from them. This is not the end. The door is open to those who were not picked," he said.
The team was set to report to camp yesterday in readiness for the Cosafa Championships in Zimbabwe from September 13. [Rebecca Jebet]
