Controversial blogger Cyprian Nyakundi could be yet in another legal battle over the rumour that veteran journalist Leonard Mambo Mbotela had died last weekend.

KBC's Leonard Mambo Mbotela will now initiate a law suit against the blogger Cyprian Nyakundi for initiating the widely talked about ‘death’ of Mr Mbotela.

According to one of Mr Mbotela’s colleagues at the media house, the complainant says the blogger had lied that he apologised to him over the rival word that he had died.

The blogger has in the past been in legal battles with top corporates on defamation charges among them Bidco’s Vimal Shah and Safaricom’s former boss Michael Joseph and the current boss Bob Collymore.

When contacted, the blogger terms the reports as propaganda, says he had contacted Mr Mbotela over the matter and that he had declined having plans to sue him over the matter.

"I have called him and asked whether he is suing me. He just told me that he is not aware and has no plan to sue me," said Mr Nyakundi.

Most of the suits the blogger has been taken through in the past emerged from his Facebook and Twitter posts.
