As we near the date of the general elections, Kenyans especially politicians should preach and ensure there is peace in the country.
Fighting and killing each other will not affect the so called politicians nor their children. While their children are relaxing in their cost homes, ours will be in the streets jeering and tearing each other apart.
Before you raise your machete or panga, think about it. Tomorrow you will need this person you are killing. Before you pull that trigger, ask yourself why their (politicians) children are not fighting. Why their children are not at the forefront. Take your time and think before you act.
Politicians will always be politicians. After we have killed each other, they will sit together for a cup of tea. So before you kill each other, ask yourself whether it is worthy it. The people we evict and kill are the ones who will help us tomorrow.
We will need each other after elections. Elections is not the end of life; we have a long life ahead to live. Kenyans should not allow politicians to use them as a bridge to ascend to power.Let us preach and ensure we tolerate each other to realise national cohesion.
