We watered down Chapter Six on integrity to allow UhuRuto to run for the presidency in 2013. Much as they were innocent until proven guilty, the chapter intended to block suspicious characters and people of questionable integrity from running for public office. It was never intended to just block people after they have been convicted. The framers of the Constitution knew some people may never get convicted even when caught with their fingers in the jar!
