The story is told about one priest who came to Africa and converted a young man called Abuku to Christianity. He baptised him and called him John.
Before he left Africa, he reminded John that as a good Christian, he must not eat meat on Friday and he must not tell a lie on Friday.
John went about being a good Christian. But one Friday, he had the urge to eat meat. He slaughtered a goat and begun eating it. Unfortunately, the White Priest arrived and found him eating meat.
''John, you are eating meat on Friday?!'' he asked in surprise.
''No father. It is fish,'' replied John.

''John, you are telling a lie on Friday?''
''No father. It is fish,''replied the adamant John.
So they had an argument and the priest wanted to know why it was fish. John began to explain.
''Father, I took some water, springled it on the meat and said from meat you become fish.''
''You can't do that!'' exclaimed the horrified Priest.
''Why not father? When you met me my name was Abuku. You throw water on me and I became John!''
A happy Easter for you folks.
